Who I am

Zingiber is a one-person web design studio run by me, Isaac Semple, in Northern Ireland. I work with businesses anywhere in the UK. You can reach me at [email protected] or on 07553 738273.

What I collect

Only what you type into the form on my free-preview page: your first name, your business name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give me one, what your business does, where people can find you online at the moment, when you’d like your site live, and anything else you decide to tell me. The form also records which link brought you to the page, so I can see which of my posts are working.

If you ring, text or WhatsApp me instead, I keep whatever you tell me in that conversation, which for a text or a WhatsApp means your phone number too.

Why I collect it

To reply to you, to agree a price, and to build your preview. That is the whole reason. I don’t run a mailing list, there is no newsletter, and I don’t pass your details to anyone else or sell them to anybody.

Where it’s stored

In a Google Sheet on my own Google account, and in my email inbox. That means Google holds a copy on their servers on my behalf, and their own terms cover that part of it. Nobody but me can open the sheet.

How long I keep it

Until you ask me to get rid of it. If we don’t end up working together, I clear old enquiries out within about a year.

Having it deleted

Email [email protected] and ask me to delete your details. I’ll remove your row from the sheet and your emails from my inbox, and I’ll reply to tell you it’s done. You don’t have to give me a reason. You can also ask me for a copy of what I hold, or to correct something that’s wrong.

Cookies

This site doesn’t set advertising cookies and nothing here follows you around the web. One short-lived cookie is set if you click through to one of the example sites in my portfolio, purely to keep those links working while you browse; it clears itself after a couple of hours.

If you’re not happy

Tell me first and I’ll put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If I change how any of this works, I’ll update this page. Last updated October 2026.
